Introducing Techno-womanism to the Classroom

10 a.m. Mountain Time

Techno-womanism is an interdisciplinary womanist theoretical approach to analyzing, understanding, and explaining the intersectional nature of the human experience within and outside of the digital space as well as in and around technology. It is an exciting and burgeoning concept birthed in ethical and theological spaces with the potential for a powerful impact within educational spaces. This talk will outline the ways in which an educator can inform their teaching and design their courses to incorporate techno-womanism just as one would feminist pedagogies for example.
